In the private group, schoolboys shared objectionable pictures of underage girls and discussed rape. After many people were shocked about boys having such chat groups on social media, today, ‘girls locker room’ has been trending on social media thanks to a journalist who shared screenshots of the chat room which claims that even girls share objectionable pictures and discuss rape. After the #boyslockeroom and #girlslockerroom is trending on Twitter, actor Ranvir Shorey reacted to it. The actor tweeted, “#boyslockeroom vs #girlslockerroom. Can’t live with each other; can’t live without each other. But only one is better at spelling.” Joking about everything, Ranvir sarcastically said that Boys locker room versus Girls locker room, they can’t live with each other nor can they live without each other. He then added, “But only one is better at spelling,” and concluded his tweet. While Ranvir shared his point of view, the actor received backlash from his fans on social media.
Replying to Ranvir’s post, one fan tweeted, “Did not find it funny at all. You can do better.” The actor replied back to the fan with some emojis. While one fan mentioned how she did not find his statement funny at all, another fan tweeted, “I don't think this is something that we should be joking about..” When a fan explained to the actor that there are something’s that we should not be joking about, replying to the fan, Shorey said that he jokes about everything.
